Due to the high manufacture cost for high-end Lithium-Polymer battery cell comparing it to Lithium-Ion, therefore, the price of PowerBank equipped with Lithium-Polymer battery is always rather higher than the PowerBank equipped with Lithium-Ion battery.
Why Li-polymer price higher than Li-ion ?.
Lithium-Ion safety aspect is not as good as Lithium-Polymer, and it did happen or report exploded with very poor quality or Low grade lithium-ion.Below the list differences between then :
(a) Lithium-Polymer
- Latest technology, Less warmer, Non-flammable, Non-explosive, Stable and Safe.
- Slightly bigger in size
(b) Lithium-Ion
- Easy to get “hot” or simply warmer than expected, Flammable and Explosive
- smaller in size
Few information about the Li-polymer and Li-ion, it shows the Li-polymer better than Li-ion. Even though the price of Li-polymer higher than Li-ion.Now,you can choose which the power bank is good and valuable for you.
